Good size to distribute to immigrants preparing for citizenshipMay 05, 2008
I bought several of these for an extended family of immigrants, one for each house. It's inexpensive, but not cheap: a real cloth flag. Now when we talk about the stars and stripes, and what it symbolizes (in preparation for the citizenship exam) they have a better idea of what the flag means to Americans, especially since it's getting harder and harder to find flags flying in everyday life.
